2012 MED Week Luncheon Photos

The University of Texas at San Antonio's Institute for Economic Development and the Minority Enterprise Development Center will kick off the 30th Anniversary of the Minority Enterprise Development Week starting Monday, October 15, 2012 through October 18, 2012 at the Marriott Northwest in San Antonio, Texas.

This year’s MED Week will honor winners both past and present for their contributions to the business community. Two special 30th Anniversary Special Awards will also be presented to an individual and a company who maintain a high standard of excellence, dedication, and accomplishment.

The U.S. Commerce Department's Minority Business Development Agency and Small Business Administration sponsors National MED Week. Locally, MED Week is organized by the MBDA Business Center, a component of UTSA's Institute for Economic Development. The MBDA is joined by a consortium of public and private entities dedicated to minority business success in planning the San Antonio celebration.
