Intellica Corporation is a leading SBA 8(a) and disabled veteran-owned software corporation, providing comprehensive services to both government and commercial institutions worldwide. The foundation of Intellica is a core of highly experienced software and IT engineers who have worked together for many years. Intellica employs more than 55 individuals in San Antonio, Washington, D.C. and on-site at several bases including Randolph Air Force Base.
President Jose Lago started the business in March 2001 after moving from Florida to Texas with a dream of starting his own business in the healthcare industry. With years of experience, Lago quickly established himself as a major player, earning a contract with SAISD for IT solutions. As a customer-oriented IT company, Intellica continues to win contracts and strives to be innovative. Currently, the company is developing a system of electronic medical records for substance abuse clinics.
Intellica is an active member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Lago credits his success to a smart team of dedicated people who are as driven as he is for customer service. Intellica was previously honored in 2001 as MEDWeek Technology Firm of the Year.
